i belive he went through the turn signal hole like how its demonstrated in the DIY. The easiest and fastest way me and my friend found to take out the headlights is to totally remove the front bumper. We just put back in my stock headlights yesterday and it was really fast.

yup, right through the turn signal hole.

its a little tedious, but all in all a quick mod. took about an hour and a half all told.

Same here. I really love the way it looks but I dont want to mess anything up either. I really dont want to take the bumper off or the tires.
Anybody know how I can do it without removing the tires or the bumper?

there is no way. there is one screw behind the bumper. it needs to be taken off. sorry

even if u were to buy another set of headlights. yu'd have to take off your bumper. or at least lower it to get to the bolt
