was placing the lexus tubes iin there easy or required cutting or extra modding of the fog light? i'm assuming it wasnt just a switch the bulb and youre done replacement.

distantXtremes...where dyou get the lexus bulbs from? do they just replace the stock h3 bulbs? i wanted to get the same results you have to get that lexus look and i ordered Yellow h3's from ebay. I put 'em on a couple of months ago and it left me with bright white foglights with a slight hint of yellow and blue. i wasn't pleased when i first got 'em..but i guess they look pretty cool at night. at different angles, sometimes theyre brighter than my stock low beams.

I have spent time and money getting rid of the amber on my car... but, whatever floats your boat. They dont look bad, just UN-modified if that doesnt sound weird?

Dont get me wrong, your car is sick

no, it wasnt easy at all. infact most people would freak if they watched me dremeling open my foglamp housing...
most headlamps can me oven opened where you take the headlamp and heat the headlamp till the glue that seals it loosens enough where you can peel it apart...
this isnt the fact with the foglamps...
the glue doesnt get soft, and requires too much heat to get it soft, so the next thing would be is cutting it open.

i placed the yellow tubes that i got from www.suvlights.com in the H4 section
i didnt use the yellow balloon covers since they did not allow heat to escape like the tubes did.

sealed it back up with jbweld.

i like em and might do another set and sell them...
just not sure if its worth the trouble.

i have tried several different "yellow" bulbs... they are never yellow enough to me

i used a yellow glass tube that actually covered the clear h3 foglight bulb from www.suvlights.com in the H4 section.

you have to carefully take off the metal piece and jbweld the glass tube to the inside of the oem foglight; this only can be done if you open the foglight assembly up.

    hey ROLLA S...
i like the overlays... looks great!
