ok, so i went to the track on friday because i wanted to get some runs in before i got my fuel controller installed the next day for comparison and....i didnt do so hot . I'm glad i got that 14.845 the other time i went to the track, because i dont know if i'll be able to get there again!
Anyway, i did three runs and ended up with
1st 15.304
2nd 15.253
3rd 15.185
As you can see, i got better each run so with a couple more i mightve gotten back into the 14's....

All in all, I just sucked...all my 60 ft times were above 2.45, and i wasnt shifting as fast as i shoulda been. Also, i was letting the car go past 6450, my "flutter zone" (read my dyno numbers post in the engine section post if youre not sure what i'm talking about) which i now know thats where power drops off big time...not to mention its dangerous for my car....as my car actually shut off at the end of a run on friday.

So the biq question for myself is will i be able to reach my goal of 14.5 now that i have my controller installed. This is my goal before i get a header and full exhaust later this summer i think........i dunnoif i'll be able to do it though, i have about 15 extra hp and tq to the wheels and next time i plan not to suck this time too maybe ill take out the rear seats. I know my tires and wheel size isnt the best for the best 1/4 times, but if i can do it, i think it will be that much more impressive....so we'll see. I think if i get almost perfect like my 14.8 run i might be able to go 14 and a half.....and that would be AWESOME. Anyway, i'm going on friday i think, so i'll let everybody know.

Oh yea on Friday, the first time i raced some firebird..got wasted, he got a 13.4
Second race was against a thunderbird i beat him since he got a 16.8
and the 3rd race against a awd turbo eclipse...man did that thing take off, he got a 1.6 60 foot and was GONE...i couldnt tell if i was goin forwards or backwards. He ended up with a 11.6.

..i just figured out why i was getting 15's last time...i was trying dropping the clutch instead of feathering it.

Get the TRD Japan clutch, flywheel and LSD.........that'll help you out greatly.
