rust on my 03

rust on my '03

So the fuel door on my '03 Corolla has lost a tiny chip of paint off of it. There's a 1mm diameter area of metal exposed and it's rusting REAL bad. Bad enough to where the rust is actually being washed down and is staining the paint below it. And so, this is my question: think Toyota would cover it under warranty seing as how I have 32,000 miles on it (warranty not expired yet.) Or would they most likely tell me that it's not their problem and I can go suck a goat? What yall think?

I think the rust deal is good for like 10 years or something from the factory???
