Wow that was a nice vid. I think the reason the Supra won was because the GT-R collided with the Silvia. Overall it was a nice race and all the cars performed well. Thanks for sharing this piece of art.

I don't get how they say all these new cars coming out of japan are going to have so much hp (ie: supra, gt-r concept). I thougth all Japanese cars were limited to 280 hp?

Which car would you pick? Evo8 or WRX STi?

The reason why Im' asking is because I'm looking to buy a street machine that will smoke the competition. Hope to get one next year.

Evo 8 for Tracks and control + you could use the extra money to boost your car's hp or you could go for STi on straight aways. Evo is better for corners cause STi has too much hp, causing understeer (or oversteering I cant remember...) Well thats what i know and its my opinion. I was going to get an Evo 8. They kinda look ugly though, STi looks much better. All you'd really have to do is get an aftermarket front bumper to make an evo 8 look good.

So STi does weak on cornering huh? I don't think I will do too many of those, mainly straight line drag racing. The Evo 8's got a good looking body (for stock) especially the agressive looking front end but could still use a nicer aftermarket body kit. If the STi wasn't around, the Evo is mine. I was never really a big fan of Subaru, but I just can't help drooling over the specs on the WRX STi.

Here in Southern CA, I've only seen a total of two Evo 8's driven in the city and no STi's yet. They're not very popular, either that or it's too expensive (especially the insurance-yikes!!).

Man i see evo's and sti's all day here in Orange County. Even with all those around it feels good to get some looks towards my Rolla . Can't find too many done up rolla's in my area. Everyone keeps theirs stock. I see a lot of Matrix and Celica's. And a crap load of the Corollas on steroids (is 300). Does anyone know when the corolla's will get some play in the diecast market?? I see is 300's, celica's, now even matrixs', but no corolla...what the heck man??

I live in San Bernardino County and I guess people here are too poor to get those Evo's or STi's. There are a lot of Corolla's out here and there are a lot of fixed up ones too. I don't think they are members of this forum or even know about this website. I get some people driving their stock Corolla and asking me where I got all my stuff? They thought that the cosmetics I got with the Corolla S was an optional package provided by TRD.

I just saw an STi at the Ontario Mills the other day. Silver one, with nice ground affects.
