If your talking about the automatic light sensor... Then yes, you can just unplug it and it will stop working. If your talking about disableing the DRL's then i wont go into details about that because there are plenty of DIY's all over the place about that.

How do you unplug the sensor? I didn't think you could just unplug the sensor. I thought you had to do the cut and ground for the drl's to get the sensor to stop functioning.

if you take out your gauge cluster, you can reach the sensor and unplug it.
i think you can also try from the bottom of the steering wheel where the foot pedals are, reach up and unplug, but i forget, it's been a while.

the sensor just controls the lights to come on at night. the drl is seperate function from the sensor.

the sensor only turns on the lights when it gets dark, not when the car starts up. to fix that problem, you'll have to disable your DRLs.

first of all to do it the correct clean way you have to have some knowledge of wireing... to do what you want to do your gonna have to pretty much bypass the DRL's and the twilight sensor by rewiring your lights.
