    DRL Fuse????

i was reading my owners manual and i found the fuse for the DRL system. will that disable the DRL. i figure that it also say "ECU B: Daytime Running light system" or something to that. I figure that i should mess with it. i'm just trying to find a way where i dont have to cut wires or rig up a switch. I have a '04 model if that helps.

Nope, wont work. Lots of us have tried pulling fuses to disable the DRL, but it dosnt work. I sudgest going the 'cut and ground' the yellow wire route. Its the easyist way and IMO it has the best results. Basicly turns your lights into normal lights, off when the switch is off, on when the switch is on.

If you disable the DRLs, will that also disable the sensor that turns the head lights on when it's dark?

Well that's good. This morning on my way to work, my headlights/fogs couldn't decide if to stay on or off. They kept powering up and turning off a couple of times. It was around 6:30 am when it was a little dark outside. I am going to do the toggle switch DIY hopefully soon.
