Door Bumper Guards Removed...now what

    Door Bumper Guards Removed...now what

    I took the strips off about 3 weeks ago and ever since, my doors
    sound like your hitting the side of a metal bucket when you close
    them. Sorry for the analogy. I really like the look of them off but I
    was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and if there's
    anything I can do to dampen the sound?

    Mine does the same thing......it's a hollow sound. I just kinda got used to it.

    Put some dynamat on the inside of the door skins.

    yeah I was thinking about doing that...what about if I mounted the removed guards onto the inside of the door. Is there enough room in there?
