    Fun with passenger seat!

I noticed the other day that the passenger seat has some kind of sensor in it that is hooked to the "seatbelt light" by the A/C controls. When pressure is put on the seat and the seatbelt isnt on, the light blinks. Has anyone found this relay yet? I bet we can have fun with this!

OK... Who can come up with the best idea for using this sensor thingy?

you could hook neon up to it, to where it only comes on when someone sits in the seat or hook it up to an electronic whoopie-cushion or something.

Better yet, I'd like to have one of those for the driver's seat as well... that way I could incorporate it into some kind of evil torture device that car thieves would learn to hate... You would have to be sitting/touching/pressuring either the passenger or driver's seat to steal anything (radios usually).

A short burst of electricity ought to do the trick...

how bout putting that seat on the driver side and have ur car start whenever u sit on it, problem is, u ll need an alarm system with an auto fuel shut off whenever u arm it or whenver u leave it unattended after a certain amount time.

I just disabled mine, too many passengers were complaining about it. They would be like waaaaaaa waaaaaaaaa this light is annoying and I would be like STFU your more annoying then the light so I finally just disabled the thing so they would STFU.

I was more thinking what kind of button could i put in place of the light then what I could use that ass sensing switch for. The stupid people would always try to push the light like it was a button and im like you retards I tell you every single time your in my car that its not a button so it would be cool to make it a button that like flashes a retard sign at the passenger or something.

    well just my 2 cents.

HAHA ziptie. Nice, thats whats holding my underbody neons in place. I just thought it was funny how you can use these things. I like the neon idea with the seat sensor, not bad.

You know, the light is a lot less annoying if the passengers do what they're supposed to and put their seat belt on.

haha, yes that would be cool to use as a theft detterant :D. do the drivers seats even have sensors cuz i would think the seatbelt light would blink no matter what even without pressure on it cuz there is always supposed to be a driver..or maybe there are sensors in our drivers seats as well but they are just not hooked up to anything..who knows?

i just tell my passengers that there's a sensor so they put on the seatbelt.
But here's the best part.... I get them to lift their butt up w/ the seatbelt on to try to get it blnking again. it's really funny =D
