    Update with new motor!!!

Friday my car is finally going to be running again. It's taken a while because the guy doing it for me is changing every gasket and seals. He should get the head back also tomorrow from being ported and polished. The new motor he got is a used 7afe, but he is rebuilding it from the ground up and after the port and polish the engine is gonna be almost as good as a 4age swap. I decided to keep the car because I'm gonna be working for the shop thats doing my engine and I'm gonna be able to do alot of things including turbo soon. I'll get pics on the project soon and tell ya guys how the difference is.

ya man its great news alright. Next to soon run again is Turismo's car. This is the second time I've experience watching a corolla getting a new motor put in. Last time they had to order a new motor cause they got an obdI motor that has no crank sensor. Same with my motor, but the guy doing my car is tearing the new motor also to make it stronger with new parts and stuff. So he swapped the sensor from my old motor to my new one. I also found 2 more big holes on my blown block. 4 holes all together and 3 of them are ranging from 3 inches to 6 inches big.

Just glad to hear that your car is going to be running sometime soon. I saw some of the holes you were talking about when we went to look at your car.

    so no more teggy?

And there is a difference between the 93-95 7A and 96-97? or is the crank sensor direct swap? I'm asking because i'm thinking of keeping a spare 7a in the garage to build on my freetime

Its a direct swap because he just took out the entire surrounding area where the pulleys are where the sensor is located. So its a direct swap.

Ya I'm sticking with my car now for sure. I saw like 4 hooked up corollas with the same body style as mine, but all of them had euro tails, rims, and exhaust. Also one of them had the erubani kit. I'm the first one to mod a corolla in my town, so I'm gonna show them how its done right. The head hasn't been recieved yet so my car should be put together by monday or tuesday.

Finally recieved all engine parts, so my engine is being put together right now as I type. It should be done tomorrow cause he has to reweld and weld some holes on my exhaust system.
