    thanks :D
the amber piece doesn't go to well w/ a red car, plus it was already destroyed. I could definitely picture the amber on a black or moonshadow car though

it actually didn't take very long to do. maybe like an hour and a half of actual work, however you have to let the paint dry over night. i started one night, and finished the next morning.

awesome man, ive been thinking about doing that for the longest time since i got gunmetal wheels...and you pushed me over the edge, i'll tackle it next week. Question though, was the pink apron essential to the process...I'm still debating whether or not i should pick one up :?

how hard was it to pull the cover off the light when you got it out of the oven? Was the piece tacky at all? easy to leave fingerprints?

it's VERY tacky..........it'll take 2 trips to the oven before you'll get em apart.

I am looking at the light right now and wondering if you took it apart at all before sticking it in the oven? Where on the light are the seems that you are pulling apart? Sorry for all the questions but I am wanting to try this this week.

just dont bother trying to clean the inside part of the clear lense, it shouldnt need it anyway..... you'll leave streakage.

How did you get that amber piece out?. I've popped the hood and unscrewed the first two visible screws of the headlight unit, but realized that the glass was somewhat superglued to the chrome housing. How do you get in there? I have xenons evertwhere including the signals, but the amber is still there.

Now some sites say to cook them at 200 for 10 min is the 300 and turn off method what everyone else used?
