    appearance wise i like it!

however, you can easily tell that the kit is of poor quality/fitment. This is why i refuse to buy a new body kit.

better fitting than most aftermarket bodykits. nice job.

btw..how much did you end up spending?

How much for the bodykit? How much for getting it painted and installed?

Ya id suggest re-painting those side moldings as well. Id really need to see it with the bigger wheels to see how it looks.

well, the seams dont line up... the color is off white to the car... and the wheel gap is definitely gross. get it painted, lowered, and get some better 18's on there and maybe the seams wont be so noticable.

personally i dont like the kit. the front looks good... but the rest has a cheap appearance. but whatever floats your boat, your car.

    dont match

you are right looking at it again the body kit looks more white than the car maybe you need to clean the paint with a good wax to get it match.

his posting is helpful to the 03 corolla community...we got to look at the fitment, all without even buying the kit ourselves...he was like our guinea pig for the "drifter kit"

i dont remember saying he didnt contribute information to the "corolla community," obviously, he did. im sorry i dont like the kit at all, and he didnt like my negative feedback/suggestions. but this is an open forum, and people do dislike things. the point i was making was, he should be able to take constructive criticism (and yes, it was constructive). he cares about the good said "thanks thanks *happy happy*", but not the bad "stfu i dont care what you think *angry devil face horns frowny frowny face*." sorry but im not here to make you feel great about your car unless its true. im here to say how it is. i remember seeing the same suggestions/comments as i had from other people.

i would more say he has balls to get a kit, and informative to share information, since he wanted a kit. not call him your personal guinea pig, thats pretty lame to call him that. he didnt have to spend the money, nor share any knowledge of it with you. if my car will end up being your test rat, then bite me. me, i dont like most kits that are out, they're cheap. i dont want one, i was sharing my opinion like everyone else.

ps- i dont know about you, but i can tell just by the maker of the kit, as well as reputation, how the "fitment" will be. if its someone like veilside, it'll be almost perfect. last time i checked, extreme dimensions inc. wasnt up there with veilside.

Nicely spoken for a noob Johnny rolla J/K. I agree its f'ed up to call him a guinea pig and diss his ride the way some of you did. There is such thing as constructive criticism and just being an @$$.

I think its all in the wheels... The fitment might be off, but when you throw some 18s on it I bet noone will even notice it. Its also different from 100% of the members in this forum. I got a few small differences from everyone but Im like all the members here: Tein springs, Motegi wheels, altis Grille, clearcorners, blah-blah-blah... not many ppl have an aftermarket bodykit yet. Post some pics after the wheels are on and I bet you get a different response.

It might still be... hey the fitment isnt great, but nice ride.

i did not read nakanari's response correctly (the devil horn thing)..i agree with you in that not everyone is going to like your car and thus one should not be expecting praise. a lot of people on this forum probably do not share the same tastes as i do and may not like the look of my car, and thats fine with me. i agree with you that people's cars shouldnt be praised unless deserving so. about the guinea pig comment, it was taken out of context. i never thought of him as a personal guinea pig in any way. i did not ever intend to buy this kit but other people may have but may have held off until someone bought it and shared their experience first. I applaud him, and yes he did have the balls to dish out the money to get the kit and was nice enough to share his experience. i never did diss his car, though i would still not get this particular bodykit. in many ways i agree with a lot of things you said. this was just a little error on my part (the first part of this post) and the guinea pig comment not being as clear as i wouldve liked.
