    Hood/Fender Vents

Im not a fan of big hood scoops, but I diggin these and was wondering what you guys think of them. I dont think theyre over done and I like the way they or inset instead of sitting above like other scoops. Im thinking about getting them and either molding them into the fenders or just using one of them and mold on the hood right in front of my intake.

Haha! I would love a CF hood, but the shipping on them is crazy expensive and no one(that I know of)sells them locally...

if this loan (which im tryin to work out with my dad) ends up workin out, then im gonna get a cf hood...but i dont want to get into too much detail about my plans, hehe...lets just say that $4800 should go a long ways....about the hood scoops...wouldnt it cost quite a bit for them to be installed and painted?...

Well, just like you have plans, I have some also, LOL! :ninjastea
The car is going into the bodyshop for paint and some bodywork in not to long and Id rather tack on a few extra bucks rather than spending over $400 on a hood that is not garunteed to fit like OEM.

Im still shopping around as of right now, the color is a secret...just kidding. Im either going with:

1.Burnt orange two tone with IS300 Grey on top. The grey would start at the window line and go up. Ive been thinking about this one for well over a year, I have a photoshop of it somewhere that I did almost a year and a half ago.

    2.IS300 Grey
3.Stock Sunfire Red color with a tad more pearl
    4.Stock Sunfire Red

Im thinking of just going with the stock color again cause itll be cheaper and I LOVE the color. I looks good with my headlights and grill.

yea ur color does go good with the headlights n grill...but im tellin ya bro, the cf hood would definately set things off for ur car....well since you've shared a bit with me, here's my plans (only for paint tho, hehe)....just like you, ive always wanted the top half of my car to be black starting from the window line up.....i posted about some people doing that for me on the photoshop section and ive been stuck on it...so cf hood, black from the window line up, and repaint the rest to the stock "champagne" color...with a cf hood and a black upper half, i think it would go along great...now all id need after that is a cf trunk.....but i cant remember the name of the website that was selling a cf trunk...

    Edit: just found it....grounddynamics.com

How much does it cost to do a good quality paint job where you guys are? Like taking off all the stripping, bumpers, lights etc/etc doing it right.
I want to get my CRX painted sometime in the near future. Thought I would like the blue colour, but I am thinking that something else is in order...

damn it! man, i had my mind set on getting that trunk....im gonna call them until they get some in....

And to milhousse, fastrolla96's friend has a newer model civic, like pre 2000....he got it painted a much more stunning looking blue color that the Si blue color....they guy also painted some yellow graphics on his car that i really didnt care for but the paint job in itself was pretty incredible and very high quality....he said the guy only charged him somewhere like $1200-$1400 for that custom job....it looked like it was a $5000 paint job cuz it was really high quality....

I guess if you do that you can save money from not having to paint that spoiler.
