carefull for all of you that have the altis grille installed.... i have one installed on my car and i had the bottom bold of the brace in front of the a/c condenser break off and toyota said they wont fix it cause of the aftermarket grille.... i know sounds stupid but its true.

I would take it to another dealer,and see what they tell you. Unless the Grille did the damage, which i dont think is possible they should fix it. I would fight it.

Put the stock grille back on and bring it back

yea that was my thought to go to another dealer.... but the problem is the only other dealer close is owned by the same people..... i think they were just mad cause they had to warranty my battery since it died on me. too late to go back now... just turned over 37,000 miles

im sure there is documented proof that u went in before the warranty was up... also dont forget the magnusun moss warranty act... im pretty sure that if its suppsoed to be warranty work and u have proof that u did go in about the same thing b4 warranty was up, u could get it fixed under warranty. talk to the service manager if need be

Check with your auto insurance carrier. They usually offer mechanical breakdown coverage that lasts 2x to 3x longer than the ones offered by the dealer, are far more comprehensive than the dealer warranty, and are helluva lot cheaper than the dealer extended warranties. If you don't already have that coverage available, then go add it to your policy and then file a claim!

I still say its gay, a grille caused a maulfunction wtf is that?
