flat tire jacking-up especially on the road side

    flat tire jacking-up especially on the road side

    :? so how do u guys jack-up the corollas? being lowered and all

    coz i had the hardest time way back on my 2.25 - 3 inch drops

    and when u have a flat tire? how do u jack it up? just curuios....

    i had to run over some 2 x 4 piece of woood for oil change and regular tire change..

    but how a bout a flat tire?

    i am just dropping 1.25 to 1.3 at the most H&R sport so no worries here....

    Better carry a low-profile jack in your truck or some two by fours...

    the stock jack fits fine under a lowered car............i wouldnt use it though unless you're just fixin a flat.

    lol.. i've been using the stock jack to lift my car for a long time.. i actully have 2 jacks.. one from my 98 corolla and one from my 04 corolla... both works really good.. never have problem with it..

    I wasn't saying it's a bad jack...............i just wouldn't use it to do anything major, like installing lowering springs. Heck i just used the stock jack a few weeks ago to rotate my tires.

    lol~~~ you are totally right.. i use it to rotate my tires.. but i wouldn't recommend using it to change springs either..

    If you don't like using the stock jack, you could buy a cheap hydraulic jack at Pep Boys, Kragen, whatever for like $20 that does the job just fine. I'm on Hotchkis though and I've noticed it to be a little harder to reach some areas now that the springs have settled a bit.

    For an oil change though, you could buy those tire ramps (basically like using the wood), but you wouldn't have to jack the car up at all and be safe. The ramps I think are like $20 as well.
