Who here did the DIY to install a new stereo?

    Who here did the DIY to install a new stereo?

    How simple was it? Is there anything I have to look out for not mentioned on the DIY ? How time consuming is it? I won't have an equalizer like the DIY and I don't have an adapter.. how easy is it to make a console adapter? thnx!

    You NEED to buy a stereo fit kit. Otherwise you'll never get it in there and make it look good.

    I repeat, you need the stereo installation kit specified for the make of your vehicle, or you'll be in for some serious custom abs plastic work... have fun! :)

    I plan on using the DIY guide for this in about a week or 2 depending on when all my stuff gets here via mail!
