The thing about accessories is most of them aren't really needed. However, some might be items you couldn't do without. It's all personal preference really and there is no right answer.

The only accessory that came with my new 2004 Corolla CE was carpet mats, which I wanted anyway.

You forgot to include cruise control on your list. It's available as a factory option as well as a dealer-installed accessory. I had them install it as an accessory on mine because I do a lot of highway driving and considered it a requirement for my new car.

Later on I got mudguards so I don't mess the paint up too much when I drive on the dirt road to my mom's house. They were cheap and I installed them myself.

I also bought the OBX shifter online just because I thought it looked cool. After a while it started to hurt my hand, though, so I went back to the stock shifter. I wasted my money on that one.

I'd love to know what the accessory dash kits look like. I've looked everywhere (online, paper brochures, you name it...) and I don't think any pictures exist.

I wish power locks were available as an accesory. My dealer tells me they can't install them. I'll probably end up getting some cheap aftermarket system.

I've rambled enough now, I think...

How do you like those OBX pedals? Do they feel better than the stock pedals or are they more for looks?

Ide say the only real MUST is some kind of floor mats, either the carpet ones or the all weather ones. Deffinately helps keep the car cleaner. The mud gaurds are also nice too, they help keep the paint in better condition, by blocking rocks and other stuff from hitting the side of the car, and i also think they give the car a nice look. Other then that i would say a trunk mat to help keep the trunk clean if you ever carry nasty stuff.
