    Question on adjusting the gains on my amp

    Ok I am unsure of how to adjust gain levels on my amp.

    My amp is a MRD-M300 ALPINE. I just got it and a pre sealed dual 12" subs in a sealed box. JL W0 8's.

    I have a clarion head unit. I install'd everything myself, everything works fine but I get distortion around 26 to 27 volume level.

    I am thinking that the gains will fix this. How should I go about fixing the gains on this amp? It's digital and the instructions aren't to clear?

    Does the amp has any buttoms you can adjust such as treble and bass? The gain should be next to the ones I just mentioned. In this case you should reduce the gain to eliminate distorcion.
