my opinions of this car usually change depending on my financial situation. right now things are looking good, so i'm all for doing stuff for the car. next month that might change.

of course, i'm KEEPING the car now...why not, since it's paid off?

it depends on how my car is acting...

...on friday and saturday nights when i go out with my club and i smoke every POS that tries to race me, i LOVE my car and get EXTREMELY faithful...

...but other times i'd really like to get something faster with more aftermarket support...of course this car was a gift from my grandparents (my aunt was getting a new car so they bought it from her and gave it to me) and it is my first car so i figure since i have no payments i might as well do a few things to it to make it fun to drive until i can afford something better

I was sort of faithful... then I got a good deal on my Integra... and now, I feel like selling the Integra, and finding a low mileage 96-97 Corolla and keep it stock and concentrate on paying off my student loans, and saving up for a downpayment for a house.

110% faithful. I have to sell my current rolla thanks to some family issues and crap but when I turn 18 I'm for sure getting or a type S or XRS rolla, it was time for me to move on to something newer anyways but of course in Toyota territory :D

it's hard to keep vendors moving on it, thats the biggest problem with our cars... the demand isn't high enough for us to be noticed. hope youre not talkin about the engine stuff and bein 1 yr cause it hasnt been :) first talks of it were in October and we had pricing then... took us 1 month then to get pricing and a package put together, nothing got done with it... soo this time around its taking me 2... sucks cause we're seen as the bottom of the list now... same thing happened with turbo kits...

I think I'm between faithfull and Realist. This is my 3rd rolla (93, 94, 01). The 94 was my family car, I didn't konw much about car at that time. Then I got a 93 from my sister, I used it to handle brake "drift" all the time, lol, I love it. And now I got my 01 and I fall in love with it.
But I know I dont have money make it fast, my goal/dream is just 160hp or 140whp. Just enough to smoke most civic on the road is good for me, heehee.

Everyone has goals just need to realize they have to be patient while they save $$$ like me. My goal is to have a rolla that even the hachi guy will respect ( thats cuz im blending "old school" look with my new-school ride) just have to go at it one piece at a time

Hell I know I'll never own a VW in my life after what I went through with my dad's 04 P.O.S x100,000 that's all I gotta say poor quality cars (from my experience). Shit I'd take a Supra anyday other than that lol

04 what? and what were the problems?

Its a hit or miss with most cars...my corolla had so many problems....too much to list.

Rear axle replaced, cv joints replaced, 2 alternators, 3 exhaust manifolds, transmission was replaced at 96k, wheel bearings, fuel system was having major problems thus that was basically replaced, motor mounts, etc etc etc. Thats just icing.

I outgrew the corolla.....when you get older you probably wont want to be driving around in a corolla.

Motor was replaced twice in less than a year (my dad drove it most of the time and he's not the speeding, engine pushing kind he's 43 yrs old). My ass literally almost lit on fire thanks to the seat warmers and the transmission gave out once and it was a BRAND NEW CAR!!!! My Corolla I bought for $3,500 and it still runs like new, I had a few issues b4 that were normal but serious issues I've never had with the car like transmission/engine/suspension related. I can say that I'm a proud Toyota Owner

whatchoo tryin to say bitch? (hehe)

nah, i'll probably always keep my corolla just because to me it was an accomplishment to make it fast.... however, i've been eye`n some new rides lately, more mature as you might say, lol... i dunno...

to the haters of VW, lay off - german ingenuity, however warped and completely out of what we consider the norm is pretty damn badass, i don't care what anyone says...

I've seen Corolla's take nose dives within 5K miles... it can happen to almost any car...

exception here... chrysler and buicks can go to hell.
