i honesty thought about getting a firetruck horn off of ebay and using that.... or a huge 18 wheeler truck horn that uses a seperate air compressor to power it...
but i didnt want to pay the 200-300 on a horn that would scare people out of their minds...
the idea was fun though...

I changed the horn a while. It's dual horns from Hella, and you could get them on eBay around $50.

    No more wimpy horn! 8)

To mount a new horn, do you just get the speaker off of a different car and wire it up? Is it easy?

    another question i had...

i have an alarm put on my car when i bought it from the dealer, when i use my keyless entry..it beeps twice or four times when i lock/unlock. the beep though is not as loud as the regular horn.

anybody know if that beep is gonna be subtle too with the Supertones, or will it be as loud as pressing the horn?

i got my horn off a Saab 900s Turbo. u juss take off the old horn and put in the new horn. make sure to get the bracket w/ the new horn cuz its hard to take off the bracket form our old one. then juss plug in hte connector and that's it. no need to rewire unless ure planning on having two horns. thats my next project =)
