    So many choices...

I have problem deciding what I want to do about cars because I have three choices that I would really like to do but I cannot do all.

Choice one: Make my 1988 Chevy Blazer into a off-road rig with a lift and other stuff

Choice two: Buy a 1995 Z-28 Chevy Camaro for 7,000 with 53,000 miles from my work. Its a white T-Tops automatic(only problem that I have with it).

Choice three: Buy a new XRS and put a cold air intake.

I just test drove an XRS today. I like comfort a lot better over the camaro, but the camaro would be fast. I can get a hold of a 6-speed green camaro from another lot. The only thing I like about the camaro is the fact is a lot cheaper. I can pick up a new XRS for about 18,000-19,000 with my discount.

I had a '96 Firebird w/ a 6-cylinder in it...and the same problems I had rampant in that motor can happen in the LT1 in the Camaro.
If you decide on the Camaro, really watch for oil leaks. Once they start leaking in 2 or 3 places, it will quickly transform into 15-18 places and you'll never get all the leaks fixed.

18,000-19,000 HUH? that is what i would pay for it just driving it off the lot. what discount do you have. I mean I can even get an XRS with everything for about 19,500 including tax title and liscence. a basic rolla runs for about 14K for the basic CE.

I get invoice plus taxes, I am going to call them and see if I can get a better price because that seemed a little high today.

P.S. I did not wreck the Camaro someone ran into me!

^^^ agreed....i got my 1990 Celica Alltrac after my first prelude was totalled, and with simple things like a wider exhaust and a manual boost controller, you're doin much better than before. like 40% better.

I think the green 6-speed sold because it is not on the web page anymore. The white automatic was wrecked because some idiot decided to pull out in front of my on a test drive, but it will be fixed.

There is one more car I forgot to add to my list which is the Nissan Senta SE-R Spec V with the brembo brake package. It has 18,000 miles and is selling my price for $14,000 http://elwaydealers.com/dealers/elway/default.asp?page=HubPreownedInventory

Also, what I am looking for a is a all around fast fun car for not too much $$$$.

Are you a complete fucking retard? An automatic will walk all over a 6 speed with a higher stall, shift kit, and maybe some 3.73s in the rear. Im so sorry you are too fucking stupid to realize what TORQUE is, and how it works. Just becasue your corolla cant launch off of the converter doesnt mean an LT1 cant. Dont even bother wtih the honda having no torque excuse. I have experience with domestics. Fuck your corolla.

Hey lay off the vulgarity, there are others on this forum. You need to learn how to respect other regardless of the car they drive and what their opinions are. Obviously its something you have refused to learn in you current lifespan.

I have to agree with the people talking about an auto being better than a stick in racing. I would drive the stick for the "feel", but I own an auto right now and it you do it right i can beat anything out of the gate. The way I "launch" is I hold the brake in with my left foot and I have my right ready on the gas, when the light goes I let out the brake and hit the gas at the same time. This lets my RPM go up just enough that my blazer litterly launches from the start.

i just don't like the general scene that accompanies camaros and firebirds around where i live.

i used to own an 82 recaro trans am... my first car, i'll never own one of those types of cars; i'd rather drive something newer/ a little more refined.
