That's right, our rear turn signal bulbs are 3157. If you buy 3156, you'll have to break off one of the clips on the bulb to make it fit.

Actually, I don't see the point of getting amber 3157 bulbs for the rear turn signal. Unless you're using an aftermarket taillamp, the OEM tails have an amber reflector/cover for the turn signal section. The bulb behind it, however, is just a regular, white/off-white 3157 bulb. I would imagine that putting in an amber-colored bulb would actually make the rear turn signals even dimmer since the light now has to pass through two layers of coloring.

i dunno if he has aftermarket tails or not, but i assume he does because he currently is running red signal lights.

3156 is a single pole light bulb while 3157 is a dual pole.
    meaning

    FRONT BLINKERS USE 3157
    REAR BLINKERS USE 3156
    REAR BRAKES USE 3157

if im wrong please correct me ;)
but first... go check your tail lights ;)

I ordered a set of chromed amber 3157 bulbs. They have quite a selection.

I think they're the same as the regular OEM amber bulbs. They're not yellow though, they'd be closer to an orangish-yellow.
