    melted headlight bulb plastic socket.

anyone have the same problem as me? i got nokya 9006 bulbs, i've been using it for almost 6 months, and when one day, i notice my right headlight bulb is not on, so i checked it. and crappp! the socket is melted like burned marshmallow. what do i do? go to junkyard and cut one? and i can't go to a dealer cuz they will know that i am not using
the oem bulb(oem bulb would never burn it, cuz its not hot enough). i guess my option is go to junkyard or buy the whole wiring harness which is around 800 bucks or get HID's

    YPE HOT, VERY HOT!!

I had the same issues when I used a Hyper brand light bulbs. Actually, It was worst than yours, the headlight housing wasl fogged up (being that it was plastic). I had to buy a whole new housing and socket. I know one thing, I will never buy another 3rd party buld again. Unless someone has a high recommendation for a good bulb!

This was an old '92 Camry.
I bought Hyper Super Bright bulbs.

    oh,
Make sure that you don't touch the glass itself, or else it will overheat and pop!.
    Not that I did.

my hyper bulbs almost did the same thing, but i noticed the bulb looked like it was melting and immediately removed them before they could cause any problems..........The only bulb i would recommend is sylvania silverstars.
