Which is better: Civic EX Sedan or Corolla S?

I do understand I might get flamed for this one...but I have owned tons of Honda's. On the other hand the Civic looks too blah!
I have driven both by the way.

Would you buy a Civic over a Corolla?

<putting on flame retardant suit>

i personally like the looks of the new coupe civic.
i like my corolla too, but if you plan on modding your car, civic might be the way to go.
you can't go wrong with modding a civic (and i dont mean taste, i mean availability of parts). Unless your a paitient guy and want to wait for more stuff for our cars.

Yeah, but Civics are the #1 stolen cars. Corolla's are not.

Due to the dissappointment Ive had with the performance of the automatic corolla, and the fact that civics can be modded alot easier, Id say go with a civic if you want to go fast with mods (5 speed is what i would recommend).
Actually, I think the camry is the most stolen car, and integras have the highest ratio of thefts/car.

i was on the same boat as you one time............what i did was drive both of them, the moment i sat in the civic i knew i would buy the corolla. The civic is a great car but the interior materials seem very cheap compared to what was in the corolla. But if you do decide to get the civic i wouldn't be worried about it getting stolen, you have to remember the civic is also one of the most predominant cars on the road, therefore when someone wants to steal a car, there is usually a civic somewhat nearby.

I think Civics are great cars and very easy to mod as others have said. But personally I would still go with the Rolla, the look is great and little by little we're getting aftermarket parts available. I see Civics as too common, everyone and their mamas have one.

i drove hondas/acuras most of my life heheh but i love toyota now

gthe honda's---- note; from experience don't get over 16 inch rims it robs power =(
i admit they look nicer and easy to soup up i owned the ex coupe when it came out yr 2000 stick boy it looked nice lol dropped 3 inch rims headers sounds etc still the low end torque was not nice for my traffic side street driving.... souping it up is more for weekender long haul speed revving in freeways hehe,,, then i got the integra same story
suspension and all hehe.... honda not recommended for everyday use especially
compared to the new generation corollas hehe i think
