    Sub + Rear Deck problem?

I was down at a speed shop the other day and some guy there told me that because my rear deck speakers were exposed, when I put in my two 10" subs, it will affect the sound dramatically. The force from the subwoofers will push the cones in the exposed speakers and make it sound different. Is there much truth to this? If so, what should I do to separate speakers from subs?

I have been running a 12" inch sub in my trunk with my stock speakers for a year and it is working fine. It might sound different but it isn't that noticable.

You can blow your stock rear speakers pretty easily with subwoofers. I blew mine within the first month and have since removed them.

I think he meant his rear speakers.......

but if ur worried about the rear speakers, I suggest a fiberglass or custom rear deck

so if you removed your rear speakers, where do you put them? Unless you've removed the subs

how "easy" is it to blow the rear deck, and why? is it because of what the guy at the shop said?

also, how much would it cost to get a custom rear deck do you think?
