    Sound Deadeners

I've been doing some research on Sound Deadeners for our cars, and gotten mixed results. People tell me to check out Home Depot and buy "Peel and Seal" or "Stormguard" because its like 10x cheaper, but others say those two arent as reliable as the actual sound deadener material. Is this so, or should i check them out anyways?
If it is true, which sound deadener would you rather use? Raammat, Dynamat, B-Quiet, or Brown Bread? What gives you the biggest bang for your buck, and what is the most effective?

They are basically the same material, just varius thickness.
You could go with Second SKin (cheapest) and Brown Bread. They are much cheaper than Dynamat.

so you dont think that the Peel and Seal or StormGuard would work as well as the materials actually made for sound deadening?

Have you ever used it before, SSJ? Or heard of anyone else using it?

me and my friend used it on his civic, he has 2 15s and with the edead it does sound a bit better no rattles from the trunk whatsoever. I plan on using it in my ride I have one 12 and I want to use it on my rear deck.

i dont think its the trunk itself thats rattling as much as the rear deck. The top is made of plastic and underneath is metal, the material is cheap so the bass makes it rattle, u can tell by turning up the bass, and pushing down on the rear deck, it should sound better. i fixed it by intalling a custom deck made of plywood and putting dynomat between the wood and metal frame underneath, and bolting it all together tight. they also cut a square hole through the plywood, and the metal frame. So you actually get more bass inside the cabin.

Well for my rear deck, I sprayed on the spray on dynamat stuff (forgot the name) seemed to work pretty good. Although I should probably go back sometime I spray on some more
