he pulled the cover off and got a peice of plastic, painted it red with transparent spray tint, then inserted the red peice inbetween the cover and the clock. The clock actually lights up a light baby blue color, but the cover has a yellow tint to it. And we all know from the ziploc comercials that.....

    "yellow and blue make greeeeeeen!".

    BUT

If you add red into it the red will make it red, before it can trun green. That is wy red is one of the ONLY colors you can change the stock clock with out very many problems.

making it blue is next to impossible. You would need access to a sheet of plastic that you could mold a new cover out of. If it was clear then the clock would be the baby blue color. BUt that yellow green cover is that ENTIRE peice.

To make it red, jut go to Walmart, go to the paint section and look at the spray tint. They have the following colors

red, green, blue, orange, yellow, purple, and I think a couple others. It dries semi transparent.

Tha plastic you use is up to you. SOmthing that is about as thick as plastic containers for some products would be good. You just dont want it to be thin like saran wrap or something. If you really wanted to you could just paint the inside of the cover with the red stuff, But you could never reverse it.
