He wrote me this awhile back...

"I got the kit off of ebay, but I would not buy it form the person I got it from It took a month to get it and they never told me it was on back order. They did not even apologize for the problem. But look on ebay and if you see dash kits, check the sellers feed back and if you see comments left by y2tommyk (which is me) then thats who Im talking about."

If it were a really dark blue, I'd be all over it... but it's waaaaaaaaaaaay too light for my taste.

I really don't like flat dash kits. After seeing a few in person, they somehow "ruin" the interior with their raised edges and all. That's why I was originally going to tear out all my pieces and send them off for custom painting to get them into brushed aluminum, but now that the XRS is coming out, I'm just going to order the center console piece, since it's the same as our cars, and change out my current one. Silver is close enough to burshed aluminum for me. Now of course that just leaves the problem of the other little pieces in our car.

Plus, on top of that, I'm going to Taiwan in December and I'm going to see about ordering the center console for the Altis. In Asian countries, all cars come standard with leather and digital controls (NO KNOBS!). Only American shit cars have this crap cloth seating and ugly knobs. Now all I gotta do is figure out how to do the electrical wiring since I'm going digital rather than analog.

I personally don't have it, but i don't think it would mess up the reception, if it did u can always switch it back. You just screw it on and off, so i guess it's not that bad. You can always switch to XM radio, that way you'll always have reception.

sometimes i hate the radio, expecially when they like play the same song on three different stations. I find it kinda werid how like some of you want a shorter antenna. I live in a semi-redneck town and they all have huge antennas on their trucks. It's like they have three 6 feet tall antennas on thier trucks and you guys want lil 3 inch antennas. It just shows how different some people can be.

    hey KingKuei
When you go to tawian, if you can pick up that digital center consol... definitly pick one up for me. Find out about how much it'll be, and I'll pay ya enough for it, and give ya a little extra to help cover ur costs.
