    NEW HOUSE !

I'm excited. the bummer is the 7-10 months of waiting.....

the cool part is i'll finally have a dedicated room for my home theater addiction. I have a professional theater designer laying out the HT design as i type. sweet....

What you do to make it a lil more fun is...Take a snapshot everyday that some progress has been made from the Same Exact spot so that you can make an Animated Gif of it
from start to finish! that would be SOOO COOL! Nice lot by the way :D it's pretty huge!

I dont have any idea how to make an animated gif, but a pic from the same spot at each step sounds fun. there is a tree across the street that will make an excelant refrence point.

I have a program called "unfreeze" I got it off the net. Its very small. All you have to do is save your pics in GIF format as stills. Then drag and drop them into the program window, and hit the animate button. It then links them all together and lets you set the rotation speed, as well as if it loops or plays just once. I used that to make my pic on my posts.

But it's nice to have a landlord when something breaks... when that happens I have to pull out the 'ole wallet...

    Rich,

Congrats on the new house. I bought a "new" house (well, technically it's really old) last summer and it's been both a joy as well as a pain-in-the-derrier!

I bought a bare lot this jan. and have split emotions on building my house (hopefully early next year) one side it will be great having my own place. The other side I will be poor with house payments. I am waiting till next year to have 20% down so i dont pay pmi.

Congrats on your house! I can see what I am going to be looking forward to!
