Sounds a tad expensive to me. Did you try a little shopping around? Best Buy has done a excellent job on everything they've done for me, decent prices and nice to know if it breaks they fix it.

I'll reserve comment on Circuit City however.

I also think its a little expensive for the job. I suggest you shop around and most probably a better price will appear.

go to your area's swap shop or flee market or w.e u have in your area....they will do it for about 20 bucks and do a good job on it....or just do some research, buy some supplies, and do it yourself

I thought it was expensive as well, that is why I asked, I am in Jacksonville N.C, this place is a Military town, there is not that much OPTIONS here, we do have a Circuit City, which I don't really like, the nearest Best buy is about 1hr away. ROLLA, I wish I was back home in florida to go to the swap shop, however....... :(
I am thinkin gabout goiing at it myself, should I drill my rivets out and replace them with rivets or what, help

I really wouldnt trust best buy... they install techs are hit and miss. I guess it depends on where your at but here in portland man they messed my system up, gave me bad information, did a shitty wiring job, grounded my alarm wrong so it would always go off. I had to go to another shop to have everything redone properly. LIke I said though you cant judge a company that big because it all falls in the hands of the one peron doing the install.

Good point. I'm one of the lucky ones for having a good Best Buy install shop in town, but unlucky with Circuit City. Others have said it's the other way around where they live.

Guess it would be a good idea to find people happy with their installs and ask them where they had it done.

alot of ppl that buy/install their systems at best buy or circuit city dont know ne thing at all about what they just bout or how the install should be so their is no way that they would be able to tell u that it was a bad install unless it just stops playin....i have also heard ppl blamin crappy quality speakers on a bad install....these of course are ppl that have money and say lemme go buy a sound system without any prior reasearch, go ask the sales reps and they say they are hard hittin quality bass bla bla bla, when they are actually crap...then ppl get mad that their system either breaks quickly or doesnt sound great

I'd be willing to say if it doesn't break in a few months, nothing associated with the install (like all of a sudden water starts coming in from them not putting the door back together right) breaks, and it sounds good, it's a good install.

Anyone can put that together. But you do have a point, seek the advice of someone who's system has been in for a while, not someone who hasn't had time enough for any screw-ups to show.
