Practicing painting no my Grand Jeep Cherokee

I have an old rundown 1994 jeep grand cherokee that is very torn up and I'm practicing painting all the interior before I paint my own cars interior.

I am not sure what color theme I should go with. It's black and light gray right now with a hint of dark gray and I am just painting everything black.

I am thinking of maybe doing like red or yellow or blue or something to help add flavor. I am going to be adding seat covers that will be black to cover up the gray, it has black carpeting install'd by yours truely.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I haven't been doing anything on like the vinyl, just washing it and using some primer then using some regular krylon paint that adhere's to plastic.

Is there anything else I should be doing?
