    that box is big as hell...but i'm sure your system sounds really good too. what model component system did you get? i just ordered the polk db6500 (6 1/2" component system) and i was debating whether to put it where you have yours or in the spot where the manual mirror control would be (i have power mirrors)

    i got the db5250 i think. anyways, i would go with where i put mine, the flush mount is way cooler than on the side views plastic piece. unless of course flush isn't an option. The door panel where i have mine is so easy to put a hole in as well so it makes it that much easier.
