    I can see how it can happen. poeple warm up in the middle of nowhere sometimes at the track. But here, it was kinda obvious that she should be looking around a little better than that :) I mean she was actually on the track!
    And as for him not seeing her, if he was warming up and really into it, that's highly understandable. He was probably just at the point where he would start looking up, following the lines with his eyes form the ground up.

    EDIT: on second glance, it looks like he was actually running the long jump there (or MAYBE the triple). haha, she walked right across the event. right on!

    it looked like the reason she was looking back was because someone was yelling her name or calling her... probably to tell her she was about to get creamed, thereby allowing her to get creamed.
