Sup everyone, i know all of you have been waiting for the prices. Well miki finally emailed me the official prices, and he apologizes for the slow reply, he was in LA on a business trip. He didn't say if these prices were group buy pricings or what, but im assuming they are not. Just don't take my word about it being a group buy price til i find out for sure. Right now they are contacting UPS and FedEx about shipping costs...

Ok here's what I want to do:

    front lip: S or altis
    sideskirts: S
    rear lip: vuteq type B
    spoiler: S or JDM

If anyone buys one of the vuteq kits and wants to sell their front lip or side skirts let me know. My car is lunar mist but I can get it painted I guess.

Question: What does polypropelene look/feel like compared to the material in the stock S kit? I have heard of poly-urethane but not polypropelene. Is the stock S kit poly-u, ABS plastic or something else? Hmm...

Thanks for gettin' all the info curt

Do you know that the stock S kit when you take them off it has holes on the bumpers.. Front and back..

Polyprolelene is the oem bumper its lite and its lik the oem stuff on all cars..

I figured there were some holes but I can drill them myself or have it done at a bodyshop right? I will probably just buy whatever clips/bolts are needed from totoyta. I just don't want to buy the actual kit from them if I can help it cuz it's expensive.

wow  the kit is not cheap!! only the good things the paint job is good deal!
but i suggest get kit unpaint and install by the shop and paint it bc the kit might
be damage during by the shipment...
i found somethings about the kit is made by japan but most of them is made "taiwan'!
i guess the of poly-urethane is the reason jump the kit so expensive!

i think the best lip kit to get is altis style lip kit they made by ABS which is better than fiber galss...or u can get the R33 or buddy club kit for $same price too

It's not cheap because they are professionally made... the material is polypropelene which is what your oem bumper is made of. Which also means it won't crack like fiberglass or ABS. This company makes oem bumpers for toyota, mitsubishi and other companies. ABS is what your grill is made of, and Vuteq made their grill out of ABS as well. Not only will you be getting quality parts, but also an oem fit.

and they ARE made in japan

Well if you want the same kits thats out for the other cars thats fine but want something new and made by a great company that makes all oem parts this is it..Like wat Curtis says it comes with eveything..Also if you looked at it the price getting it panted already is cheaper then buying it not painted an then spending more to get it painted somewhere else..

i'm gonna get the vuteq grill...$160 isn't that much money...if your comparing it to the mesh altis grill you can get on ebay for $30...its not fair cuz the altis mesh grill is a piece of $hit...i took mine off cuz i didn't like the way it looked or fit =p...heh...the lexus guys spend close to 300 bucks on a grill so to complain about $160 is a bit rediculous :?

grrr it just makes me angry that we got companies that are actually going out on a limb and making products for our cars and people are just not willing to spend the money for it

tony these kits cost alot because they're high quality...not like the cheap kits that are out for the 03 right now...i've seen the buddy club kit and r33 kit...i know they don't fit right...i can tell by the pictures...i get the feeling that your trying to take away from their sales :?

thanks for posting this information curtis

Don't try to start anything here. This thread is for people who are interested in the vuteq products.

You have to understand that we're not driving civics where it's easy to find aftermarket parts and products for their cars. So in return prices will be higher for our cars. And until companies see a market for corollas, we won't be seeing the deals we see with hondas... Zero's statement was legit because it's true and it shows.

I didn't HAVE to call vuteq for you guys, I didn't HAVE to post the info, I don't have to call him today to find out the group buy info. But i did it because there are those few people who will spend the money to fix their car up. If you have a problem with the prices then don't worry so much and carry on to other threads or wait for other companies to make something in your price range.

Well not directly but a buncha phatty loans and scholarships got me through... paying them back now, blah. Saving money towards upgrading my car helps keep my mind off how much of my paycheck goes towards loans and rent.

I agree that you get what you pay for. I have been trying to get a body kit for my 03 for few months now and have only found crappy fiberglass kits and the stock S kit. I'm cool with the S kit but it's mad expensive directly from toyota. I have received quotes ranging between 1,500-2,500+ for the body package so throwin down $1000 on a similar quality kit that has a unique style isn't bad at all. That being said, I'm still not quite sold on the vuteq kits but maybe someone can straighten me out on the following:

-in the pics the kit doesn't have the best color match so it looks funny, kinda sticks out visually like it doesn't belong. I realize this could be my monitor, the picture itself, a crappy paint job etc.

-the front and rear sections kinda have this ridge/bump at the top where they attach to the bumpers. Again, this makes it seem out of place and "stuck on." It would look nicer if there was a smoother transition between the bumpers and the lips. It almost looks like the pics are photoshopped.

What do you guys think? :?:

I was all for searching to find the stock S lip kit but it's been such a bitch to find and the prices from toyota suck. I want OEM quality but i haven't convinced myself that it's worth $2,500. Since the vuteq kits are OEM material and a much better price I wanna get all my questions answered so I can get one, or at least parts. :D

Ok, I think I just found out one of the reasons I'm not sure if I'm sold on the vuteq kits... it seems like they are in between a lip kit and a full piece kit. What I mean is that the front piece isn't a full replacement for the OEM bumper but goes over it in the front and cover up some of the side as well. It is definitely not low-profile enough to be just a lip kit like the stock S or the altis. There are some pics here: http://cpm.dhs.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=78
(same ones that were posted in another thread about the vuteq kits)
If you look the pic that shows a side view of the front an S right next to a vuteq you will see what I mean. I'm not dissing it, I'm just pointing this out in case it helps others. I kinda wish the kit was either a full bumper replacement (could look freakin awesome cuz there wouldn't be that funny transition) or a low profile lip kit.

But I do like the rear section of the type B. :)
