60/40 rear seat release ADD on able?

our corollas have it where you can pull down the seats, but what irks me is that you have to go to the trunk to assecess it. For the camry, they have it on the other side of the seat.

is there a way we can add that on? any one try that yet? cause I want to hide my dvd player back there. easy to chagne out the disk and stuff. I will post pictures soon if you guys dont get it.

That is pretty annoying. My VCR is in the trunk, and the last time we went on a road trip it was raining. Had to get out, open the trunk, put the tape in, yadda yadda. Got soaked. Would have been much easier to just pop the seat and plug a tape in, nice and dry.

EXACTLY! is there a way we can do what camry has ? so you know what I mean.

I was back-of-the-mind thinking about taking the stock cable off, running a bicycle brake cable (longer) to the inside somewhere, putting the factory knob on it so it didn't look rookie.
