    look what i drove behind...

so i was coming home from bowling green university, to cleveland area (north royalton). i was lucky enough to follow this vehicle nearly the whole time. damn, it averaged 85 mph, so i cut 15mins off my trip using it as a shield incase any cops were out....but there were no cops either way. i wish i would have known that ahead of time, i would have taken my tC for a ride!

I am going to be the jackass who says the obvious here.
What was the limit? If it 80, then i'll shut up. If not, continue reading
85 the whole trip? Great, you wasted a ton of gas probably, and were speeding way over the limit. Just becuase someone else is going it, doesnt mean its a good idea to follow them, there's no rule saying that the cops cant pull you over as well. Believe me, it happens.
Sorry, but speeding like that to save 15 minutes, and it looks like you were following a little close there.
I've had too many good friends die becuase of people in other cars speeding thinking they were in control, or being in a car where the driver was speeding, thinking he was fine.

85  Even my father goes that fast on the highway...Here in FL thats the constant flow of traffic 80-85 in the fast lane. Calm down.

Then I'll take that back, as I said.
Here the max anywhere is 100km/h (62 mph)
And through most of where I drive in Ontario, the highway max is 90 km/h (56 mph).

I've just seen too many people pass me going 130-140 on a two lane non divide highway, when the traffic is going about 110, and end up being the one who hits a truck. (I do a lot of highway driving, and have seen my share of bodies on the road, including some friend's bodies in caskets for the same reason).

You cant tel how close he is by a picture....

And 85 around here, on the capital beltway and route 95 north and south is nothing! On routee 81 through WV the speed limit is 70mph, and I had it stuck at 80, 85 the entire time and people were passing me.

I have an issue with people that feel a need to cut back and forth from lane to lane going 85 when the entire group of cars is flowing at 55. THATS when it gets dangerous.

Thats basically what I meant. People here on the single lane non divided are always passing everyone going about 130+ when traffic is going no faster than 110. And like I've said, those are the people that I've seen maybe 20 minutes later as a hood ornament on a semi that was going the other way.

The opposite applies as well. Travelling at 80km/h when the limit is above that, and you have a trail of impatient cars behind you is just as dangerous in most cases.

    On another note. nice car.

This town does NOT know how to drive. Denver roads are death-traps. I feel very unsafe riding the bike.

no way man, thats a freakin Bentley Continental GT....saw one in Tulsa b4 and from far away and at night, you think they're some newer sleaker type of 300c Hemi's cuz the chrysler logo looks a lot like the bentley logo on the trunk.....only until i pulled up next to it did i notice its not anywhere near a 300c....i mean its not everyday that you see a $160,000 bentley...

LOL yeah Laura, im thinking "where does she see a vanquish?"....REALLY shitty screen at work?

oh and 80 on U.S. highways is NOT fast. You go 80 on RT1 down to the Delaware beaches and people will pass you. Same with I95. And if you go the speedlimit (65) people actually get pissed at you. Ive had people flash their highs at me when im going 65-70 in the right lane. I usually cruise @ 65-75, since I'd rather not get a ticket.

I don't care if its $160K......I still think its ugly.

I guess it all depends on where you live. Living next to Bel Air, we see a couple of them a day. So needless to say, wasn't that exciting for me.

And what is up w/ the lecturing?

Nice try, shall I say Miami, FL. Son its on a daily basis beach or no beach, literally the expensive car capital of the U.S. (with the west coast in mind too).
