    Auto-On Headlight

Ok im just sick of replacing bulbs left and right in my car. I always seem to bust my left headlight because of the DRL. does anyone know if i disable my DRL is there anyway i can keep the auto on headlight feature on the car. I like that feature because sometimes I tend to leave the headlight on in my car and drain the battery. If anyone can help i appreciate it. Thanks

    Hyper81,

There are already several posts on this. Just search for it. But here is the thread: topic 1770&highlight=drl disable

I just did the on-off-on switch option on my car. It works great. It cost me a little more, because I went ahead and used quick disconnects and butt connectors. It looks a lot cleaner. And the stock wire is a 22 guage if you were interested in using connectors as well.

    good luck

Are you serious it's 22 GA? No wonder it's so easy to cook wiring harnesses in our cars! I wouldn't use 22 GA to hook up anything! How cheap! Bad, bad Toyota!

Best way, you can upgrade the lights to be stronger (the harness) so its harder to burn out your lights (mine lasted 8 months now at 100W bulbs). And you can at the same thing, do the relay trick to disable your DRLs.

I'm still selling the kit if you want. Its only 50$ US shipped.

ya know what, that was the exact reaction i had before i did the DIY. i went out and bought some heavier GA wire to be safe.
