    *Limewire Question

    Anyone here got the Basic Limewire & have the same problem I have? I cannot open mine now even after I uninstalled & installed it again to get it working.

    Assistance pls.

    Search through your registry after you uninstall and remove any entries for limewire, check in program files for any stuff to delete as well.

    I cant stand limewire. Always have had problems with it on a bunch of computers, so I just got with something else, which in most cases is better.

    Yeah I was hesitating to say,

    I wouldn't recommend using limewire or any other P2P file sharing program. They are always spyware and open your computer up to a world of virii and other spyware. If you want to have a trouble free computing experience, definatley AVOID Limewire, emule, Kazza, etc. Don't trust any of them no matter what the company claims.

    stick to torrents, public and private xdcc (if you are careful) etc/etc.

    Finally got it going again & I have to re-install Java 2 Environment. All my files still there.
