Wouldn't he have to go through the door if he wanted to power anything out there?

Yeup. Or get some really thin really strong wires and run them through the crack on the hinge side of the door.

I was looking to take the the side bar off, and either replace it will one from a LE (color-keyed) or try to paint it to match the color of the car. I was looking to put the power wires in the black plastic hosing that protects the speaker cable and any other cables that connect between the door and the car.

    flavious,

I'd recommend just yanking those things off, and applying some elbow grease to make a very nice shine! I couldn't be happier with my "moulding removal" job!

Very nice and understated -- it's got to be TONS better than those black CE mouldings!
