Lowering the car, adjusting the headlights

I just thought of something. When I pulled my headlights to do the factory clear corners I saw there were no places to adjust the lights...maybe I didn't see them.

Then I thought to myself, my friend's saturn after he lowered it about 2 inches his lights were pointed way too downward instead of more ahead of the car.

So my question is this, how bad is the lights after you lower the car and can it be adjusted?

theres a silver looking circle thing with a little bolt head sticking out of the center of it, the circle thing looks like it has teeth on the back of it, just look for that, turn you lights on and start turning it and youll see them move up or down

When I put my JDMs in they were aimed so high I was pissing off squirrels. I put my wife's 03 (bone stock) about 10 feet from the garage door, facing toward it. Turned her headlights on and made chalk circles on the garage door where I thought the main part of the beam was hitting, and made a mark on the ground where her tire was.

Then moved hers, put mine on the same mark on the ground, and tweaked those little bolts until the brightest part of the beam fell in the circles where hers did.

A 5/16 open end wrench works perfect, lots easier than trying to use a stubby screwdriver.

For some odd reason Toyota chose to factory align the headlights with the left side facing higher than the right. Kind of like it was set up for right-hand driving on the left side of the road, but it's blinding oncoming drivers and making it so you can't see the curb side far enough out. That's gonna have to be tweaked out.
