    Argh my poor baby

So was playing some bball at this park, come back to my car and notice on the passenger side on that plastic side molding that some fucker with a red car had rubbed against my car and left his ghetto ass paint behind as well. In panick i grabbed my bug and tar remover and scrubbed away the paint. The side marker is fine, but the paint just got scraped off. What do you guys recommend for fixing this. The damage is about the size of a pencil, but on a side marking. Luckily there was no other dmg to the body of my car itself. I was thinking of that toyota pen with that body paint in it, but have had bad experiences with that before. Any idea how much it would cost to get the side molding replaced? Anyone have an extra one for sale?

To get professional results see a professional - go to a body shop get an estimate and claim it on your insurance... you do have insurance, right?

good point, and if you do tell them and make them pay, they'll get their money back by raising your rates.

That is too true too. I have been insuring cars for 27 years I've been driving, paying them every year. The FIRST time I tried to make a claim, it was denied on a "technicality". And it was only for 1200 bucks, they've made 30 times that off me already!

Gotta love insurance... it's roulette if you don't carry it (lawsuits, death, injury, damage to property, even jailtime) and with insurance you pay and make a claim and get penalized for it! Gotta love the system.
