Spend 180 for EL prototype CAI or ebay intake?

I have a 00 rolla. I'm gonna buy an intake again since i broke mine.... long story. I was wondering if its worth spending that 180 for the EL protype Cold Air Intake or just get an ebay intake for 50 dollars like this one:

I think the only thing I would be worried about woud be fitment and placement of the MAF sensor... and if you do get it I would get a K&N filter for it... but I like the color... even tho thats not a reason to buy something... but its purdy

Actually I was thinking of doing vamp's "better" custom RAI in my setup, remove the stock air filter and steal the Weapon R filter in my other car and replace it with a simple cheapo cone filter

honestly dood I dk but $180 isn't bad for a CAI considering that most other CAI's run for like 200 to 300's on other makes and models.... OR u can buy the Ebay one and get someone to custom make fitments for sensors and blah blah blah u kno

I'd go with injen if i put an intake again. right now it does not have one.
They just cost a bit much.

Yea I had an Injen on my 98' and best intake by far really, it improved my gas mileage by a bit and well power wise I barely saw the difference really but really good intake though...

hmmm well if i get the EL intake i'd defently invest in the AEM bypass valve so thats another 40ish dollars, so thats 220 for intake total

actually the bypass valve won't work on the EL prototypes CAI cause its a one piece tube i believe..... so no where to put it unless i cut that thing in half...

i say go for the CAI...i've had one since january and i haven't had any problems yet. And you won't need a bypass valve because the stock splash guard covers the area where the filter sits. the only way you'll get water up there is if you drive into a puddle that comes up farther than the bottom of your front bumper.
