    My tires came in! (again...heh)

With just over 10,000 miles on my Falken ZE512s (and no rotating), the fronts are shot..back ones look great. I just ordered two more to replace the front, and I'll start rotating this time around..

Side note: Badly worn Falkens are scary in a moderate rainfall. I can spin the tires in 4th gear at 60mph if there's a decent amount of water on the road..

wow amazing. I had near bald factory Visa tires once. I can peel off at max half way into 2nd gear in the rain. Nevertheless, its still scary as hell to drive in the rain with worn tires. btw, how much are you getting those tires for?

I paid 35 bucks apiece plus shipping and tax - total was under $90..and I got them two days after I placed the order. :)

What size tires are those cause that's pretty cheap. I had to pay 105 for just one new tire for my 18's when I had gash on one of them a couple of weeks ago.

Haha. I understand you completely. The Firestone tires I have on my car right now will spin when it it slightly wet out and when I have the wheels turned.

    New tires are in..

Heh - the guy at the shop stalled my car before he even got it out of the parking space..I almost warned him about the flywheel, but I decided to watch and see what would happen (that's the second time someone stalled it..lol). So..he pulls it into the bay, and I mention it - he asked if I had a different clutch..so I told him yeah, ACT clutch / Fidanza aluminum flywheel. When he puts the lift arms under the car, he asks if there's anything under that would get in the way -- I said no, just the purge line..but that's in the center, so the lift won't reach. He says (with a slight look of shock/surprise) '..What have you done with this car??'

    :D

I only wish it was turbo'd..haha..
