    KARR Security System

I had my dealer intall KARR Security System.
I was planning to buy an after market, but since I got a real good deal on my S type Rolla, I had them intall theirs. They charged me $287, but they installed remote trunk release for free. I got the car for $13,500. 5 speed/ Silver/ 56 miles/
I got a good deal because my friend works there.

Anyway, I was going to ask if this security system is reliable.

Are you sure its not the KITT system? Where's David Hasselhoff and his black Firebird named KITT? Hee hee!

Sorry, I just couldn't resist! I haven't had any personal experience with the KARR system (or even knew that it was an alarm system brand)... it does sound like KITT's evil twin though! :D

I just realized that dealers each state has their own partners to install a security system in their cars. In mine, this company called KARR installs all their system.

Better off leaving a note on the door saying "Im a really really mean guy, dont touch my car"... Karr alarms are worthless, remotes always break, range sucks, warranty is worthless, and they are guarenteed to break... But I guess its too late now!

sorry this is off topic, my bro. just got a 35th Z28, although automatic its a very nice car, love camaro's, but can't afford insurance on one... oh oh and i got to drive his 1989 IROC-Z with a few mods that put it just under 400 HP i believe; sigh, but finally he traded it in for the 35th (and before the 35th he also traded in his 2000 mustang gt, also nice)

    SORRY FOR OFF TOPIC

well I have the KARR alarm on my rsx ... it's just a typical alarm ...
you could change the sensitivity on the shock sensors in 8 different levels ...
and if your car gets stolen ... they replace the same model car ... with the year that it was stolen ... so if you had a 98 stolen in 2003 ... they'd give you a 2003 ... you'd have to pay the difference for anything that is on the new car but not on the old though ...
