SHORTY ANTENA DIY

    SHORTY ANTENA DIY

    This one is easy.

    Get your favorite set of wire cutters and cut it just above the thicker rubber part. Then get a black felt and color the white stuff in the middle black. Then get some crazy glue or silicone and seal the tip up!

    I just did it to my car. I figured since I am too cheap to get the shorty one from ebay for $20 I would just cut it and see how it worked. If it didnt work I can always run to the honda dealer and get a S2000 or ELE antenna and put that on.

    But it works so I am happy!

    I'll take pics after the rain stops here.

    I tried it with no antenna to see what the reception is like and didnt notice any change. I havnt driven it yet with the antenna cut off.

    when i take my antenna off at the car wash i lose reception sometimes......it think i'll just shell out the $15
