    '93-97 center piece

ok, im planin on taking out the center piece outa the trunk.
its got water in it and i wanna clean it out. so is there like 6 bolts holdin it together? or more? i can found only 6 small lil bolts thats it.

and does anyone have a pic of a trunk without the center piece on it?

Yes, its bolted down in 4 areas and clipped in at about 8-10 areas....dont worry about breaking the clips cuz youre bound to break some and plus, you'll be alright if you just use the bolts anyways...

my trunk is kinda screwed. the trunk release doesnt work all the time in the winter, and the key barrel is getting messed up (turns sometimes, sometimes it doesnt though).

I fixed up my keyhole thing to where you cant unlock it with a key.....you can only pop it open from the inside by pulling the trunk release...its really easy to do.....newayz, yea if im not mistaken, i believe you can just leave the keyhole thing there....

i just ghetto rigged that bar thing so that its always in the position that it needs to be in to pop the trunk from the inside, i don't miss my keyhole at all and i love how it looks w/o it
