    my car rattles

I just put in a 800 watt kenwood amp and 2 '12 infinity speakers. The system sounds amazing but theres one problem, my trunk rattels. Is anyone else aving this problem? My spoiler is the worst. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

it is probably your license plate. a quick fix for that is take it off and on the bottom part of the plate (not ur trunk, IMO) put on some foam tape, it dampens the sound. it really cant be anything else, cuz there isn't anything in there loose enough to rattle. also if its the plate, it will mess up ur paint after a while so do it anyways

take it to a toyo dealership...it should still be covered under your warrenty...i also had a problem with my spoiler...water was leaking into my trunk...i took it to toyo dealer and they fixed it...(my spoiler was missing 2 bolts)...you probably could have your car back the same day

    good luck

two bolts missing on a new car? you better check the rest of your car and make sure your door doesnt fall out when you drive.

What it might be also is the back winshield window. My car with the stock speakers had the back window ratteling. you can also try in adding the sound absorbing mats that might help.

I think its my side panels, thats what it sounds like....I dont know it sounds like my whole trunk, I cant figure it out. I have a pretty good system, alot of vibration. but i will keep trying to get it to stop!!!

Rattling could come from license plate, spoiler, rear deck, door panel, back seat... etc.

The way I check where it comes from is to mute all the other speakers but the subwoofers, then play some rap or dance music with strong bass. With only the bass, You could detect the rattling more easiliy.

The things I noticed that rattled on my car with my bass up is my rear deck, my license plate, rear view mirror, and my gas tank door. It might help if you lay some dyno mat in your trunk also.
