    it happened...scratched!

you know, i got my tC in february, i baby the thing. although it's really dusty in the pics. anyways, i was pulling into my garage when i hear a scrape, so i stopped right away and got out to look. turns out my mom put the garbage can close to the edge of the door...it's a plastic garbage can and it ate through my paint, into the metal/maybe primer. scions have some weak ass paint, this would have left a clearcoat scratch on my corolla.
i ordered a color matched scratch pen and clear coat pen from paintscratch.com, i'll try and rub it with rubbing compound (my car will not tolerate wet sanding)
anyways, heres some pics, i tried rubbing compound and different polishes, but it's scratched good. i can feel it lightly with my fingernail. it doesn't look terrible, the pics with the flash make it stand out alot, i haven't looked at it in daylight yet though :( i wanna cry

nah, it's in at least the primer...buffer would mask it a little...

i'll just complain about it until i get my paint pen. a scratch on a car thats only 3 months old, being my first car...sucks! i'll get over it.
i know the outside of my car will get dings and scrapes as time goes by, i'll concentrate on keeping the inside nice...
