Tech I Need Help...badly!!

    I Need Help...badly!!

    OK...I have an external HD on firewire and when I try to access it it says that it isn't formatted and does not let me access it. I don't want to reformat it becasue then I will lose everything on it. I would cry like a baby if I lost the files on it. Please tell me there is a way to access the drive...any solutions at all...please please please!! :sad: :sad:

    Bring it to a computer store, they may be able to save it. It happened to me before. But they couldnt save mine. :( :( I dont know why, the HD was damaged bad and I had to get a new one too.

    I dunno. It said it wasn't formatted (even though I used it like 20 minutes before) and would not let me access it. It's happened to me with zip disks but it never did with this big drive. I ordered another HD to use a back up so this doesn't happen again. Now I've got 630GB of storage space :D I should keep going until I have a terabyte :D
