Mounting Depth and Height for front speakers

Crutchfield tells me to get the "Shallow-Depth" Design for the front 6 1/2" speakers. is that true? because i wanna get either the Inifnity Reference 652i or the Kappa 62.5i, which has more mounting depth than the Kicker K60. I'd get the K60 but i wana match the speakers, plus i never really heard the Kicker yet. Can anyone help?

I've got the Infinity 605cs 6 1/2 inch speakers mounted in the doors with no interference problems. They have the same mounting depth as the 652i.

I got Infinity Kappa 652.5i installed with custom mounting rings. No problem.

Crutchfield only has the specs for the rear speakers, so until they decide to put in the specs for the front speackers... it will only show how a speaker will fit in the rear. Basically, if you are looking at front speakers on Crutchfield... it will only show how it would fit if it were going in the rear 6" x 9"s.

I e-mailed them once and asked them if they were ever going to try to work on the front speakers, but so far, no luck.
